Revelations by Zora Cross

Looking for angels' wings he found
A bird at rest upon the ground.
Searching for Faith that very hour
A bud unfolded to a flower.

Longing for Love, up to his knee
A dog trotted devotedly.
Yearning for Hope again came one
To be his friend ere day was done.

Seeking for Truth each step he trod -
Some manifestation of God -
Into his doubting face there smiled
The trusting eyes of his own child.
