I have known paradise --

Success kissed me

Under the blue skies,

Heart-happily.

I have seen fairyland--

A child called me

Into its play-band,

Mouth-merrily.

I have felt grief nigh,

Deep as the sea --

Love smiled, but passed by

Unknowingly.
