ABC Books Folded into HarperCollins

"The Sydney Morning Herald" is reporting that ABC Books - the publishing arm of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation - will be taken over by HarperCollins publishers as of May this year. This will mean the end of the ABC Fiction Award, and entries will now be directed to the HarperCollins-sponsored Varuna manuscript award.
