Dustjacket synopsis:
"This unusual collection brings together many of Banjo Paterson's familar poems and stories as well as some of his lesser known writings. Some of the works, such as the short story Constantine the Great, and extracts from the author's childhood reminiscences, Illalong Children, were written especially for children. The rest have been chosen for the appeal that they have for young readers. The result is a collection with a generous share of humour and a nice mix of memorable characters, animals and landscape.
