Dear Bob,

Am sending you verse and photo by this mail. Re typewriter: I think the best thing you can do is to have a trial of it and see what you think it is worth. I paid eight quid for it second-hand and was offered thirty bob for it by the same people; so it is probably worth something between those amounts.

It is at present at Mrs. Price's boarding house, 89 Caroline St., South Yarra. If you rang up Mrs. Bryant at that address and let her know when you were coming or sending for it she would be able to appoint a convenient time.

I shall be eager to know what you think of the verse, so don't fail to let me know. This is the opening piece of the book.

Hope to see you up here again soon. I was in town yesterday - down and back on the bike so I had no time to make calls.

This machine is an "Empire", and I like it well, tho' not yet used to the touch, as you will observe.

Yours
Den
